How to Integrate Energy Healing into the Mainstream Medical System

Today's article, I want to share personal insights on the future trends of medical development based on my clinical experience in traditional Chinese medicine and energy healing. I hope to bring some new inspiration and help to different types of healers on the spiritual healing path, as well as give confidence and encouragement to all friends interested in energy healing, so that more people dare to try new treatment methods and better realize the importance of the unity of body, mind and spirit.

Cognitive dilemma of alternative medicine

Currently, whether in Eastern or Western countries, Western medicine is generally the first choice for people seeking medical treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine, as the national medicine of China for thousands of years, has faded out of the public's view under the influence of modern mainstream medicine (Western medicine) and become a "backup plan". People only consider traditional Chinese medicine or other treatment methods when Western medicine is unable to provide treatment or has strong side effects.

With the revival of Chinese culture and strong support from the government, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) holds an important position in the field of medicine in China as a significant historical heritage. However, once it steps out of China and enters Western countries, it still fails to gain recognition. TCM is not recognized as medicine in Western countries (especially in Australia, although it is relatively better in the United States) and is classified as alternative medicine, or natural therapy. It has no say in mainstream medicine and is constantly under strict supervision of Western medicine. Moreover, herbal medicine is often considered toxic and banned from use.

I expressed helplessness and regret about this phenomenon. Traditional Chinese medicine is a very sophisticated medical system that uses natural methods with minimal side effects. True traditional Chinese medicine (which is not typically covered in university education) goes beyond the level of "technique." If one can understand the essence and core of traditional Chinese medicine, one can understand the concept of harmony between man and nature, and the various dialectical relationships between humans, nature, and the universe. One can also know how to truly maintain health and heal, and how to "live" correctly. True traditional Chinese medicine is actually similar to shamanic healing and other energy healing methods that involve adjusting a person's mentality, energy, and way of thinking, rather than just focusing on the body and techniques.

If traditional Chinese medicine and other forms of energy healing are so good, why have they been slow to be integrated into the mainstream Western medical system?

In the process of growing up, we were not taught how to choose the appropriate treatment for our own bodies. Often, we do not know what kind of medical treatment to seek when we are sick. In this situation, people can only choose the mainstream medical treatment (Western medicine) that is promoted by the media, because that is their only source of information. This leads to many people only knowing to go to the hospital to see a Western doctor when they are sick, without even considering that there may be other more suitable treatment methods for their own bodies.

The treatment methods and concepts of Western medicine have been "inherited" through several generations and are deeply ingrained in the subconscious or collective consciousness of most people. At this point, if a new non-mainstream medical system appears, most people are unwilling or afraid to try it because it is beyond their cognitive scope. Therefore, if traditional Chinese medicine and other medical systems (such as energy healing) cannot be integrated with modern mainstream medical technology, they may be difficult to be accepted and recognized by the public.

Ingenious combination, each taking its own strengths

Modern shamanic healing, energy healing, spiritual counseling, etc., when communicating with clients, inevitably encounter various problems when the client's physical condition and health are abnormal. Therefore, the communication process before treatment becomes particularly important.

During my clinical treatment with traditional Chinese medicine, I found that if the treatment methods of traditional Chinese medicine can be expressed in the language of modern medicine, patients' acceptance and understanding will be greatly improved. For example, when consulting with women who are preparing for pregnancy, if the doctor only uses professional terminology from the field of traditional Chinese medicine to explain the probability of pregnancy (such as kidney yang deficiency, kidney essence insufficiency, weak qi and blood, etc.), patients who are not familiar with traditional Chinese medicine or have not been exposed to it may find it difficult to understand what the doctor is trying to express. Because these terms and knowledge are not within the patient's cognitive framework, they may only have some basic knowledge of modern medicine (Western medicine) that they have learned in biology class or through mass media. Therefore, they cannot resonate with these terms and do not have a clear understanding of their own body, which may lead to confusion about subsequent treatment.

If doctors can combine the professional terminology of traditional Chinese medicine with modern medical (Western medicine) knowledge, and timely associate the terms of kidney yang, kidney essence with modern medical vocabulary such as estrogen, progesterone, follicular development, etc., patients can understand these unfamiliar medical professional terms better based on their existing knowledge, thus better understanding their physical condition and facilitating subsequent treatment.

This clinical approach is also applicable to the rapidly developing energy healing system. When the professional vocabulary and content of energy healing are combined with contemporary medical and psychological knowledge, it can greatly increase the general public's understanding and awareness of treatment. For example, incorporating modern medical examinations into the treatment process, such as blood tests, X-ray reports, ultrasound reports, endoscopy reports, and traditional Chinese pulse diagnosis, presents abstract energy in a visible and tangible way and expresses it in language that patients can understand. At the same time, using mainstream medical testing to provide evidence of improvement in energy healing is necessary for it to be recognized by the world, gradually enter the mainstream medical field, and allow more people to learn about and benefit from it.

Therefore, in energy therapy, especially for patients with substantial diseases, I will recommend doing a blood routine or related reports test before the treatment begins. This way, the positive effects of energy therapy on the human body can be better supported by changes in data after the treatment. Before performing energy therapy on patients who have already been diagnosed with cancer, a comprehensive tumor report can be obtained from the hospital to record detailed data on the tumor, including its size, color, and stage of development. Comparing the data changes before and after the treatment can provide a more intuitive and convincing demonstration of the effects and impacts of energy therapy on the human body.

Moreover, it is suggested that all energy healers should "concretize" and "materialize" abstract energy, which can be in the form of numbers or frequencies presented by the voice of the patient. By reflecting the improvement of body energy and health through changes in actual data, it can significantly increase patients' confidence and recognition of energy healing, allowing more people to try this new type of treatment. For example, record a patient's voice before and after treatment, and test the sound wave frequency of the voice. Different sound frequencies carry different energies, and changes in frequency also represent changes in the human body, which can indirectly reflect the effect of energy healing and its impact on the human body.

It is known that the United States and Germany are quite advanced in the development of technology for detecting human energy. There are many sophisticated instruments and software technologies that can detect the energy field, color, and numerical values of the human body. Therapists in need can purchase professional equipment for auxiliary detection during treatment, which helps more people understand and accept the operation mode of energy healing and its important impact on the human body

We hope to significantly increase public awareness of alternative medicine by combining energy healing, shamanism, and spiritual energy with modern medical technology. With the support of modern data and technology reports, more people can understand the wonders of energy healing and realize the close relationship and interaction between humans and energy. As a result, more and more people can access truly healing systems for body, mind, and spirit, and more people can realize that the human body is a part of nature and the universe as a whole, allowing them to return to a state of true health and balance.
